IT'S A RACE TO THE FINISH LINE!

During the course of regular part of the program, participants will climb the ranking scale by geting credit for their knowledge, out-of-the-box approach, critical thinking, oral and written skills, inovation and dedication. During this process, their points will be calculated based on the following criteria:

  • Attendance (up to 30 points);
  • Completed assignments (up to 50 points);
  • Organization of lectures at the faculties (up to 10 points);
  • Mentoring relationship (up to 10 points).

ATTEND TO SUCCEED

One of the best ways to gain points during the competition is by being actively present on lectures, workshops and extracurricular activities. Aside from the opportunity to interact and share ideas with top level professionals and their peers, at these events each AmChamps team can collect up to 30 points.

  • Lectures total of 6 points

Neuromarketing, Digital Age and Team Synergy, Family Business Development – each 2 points

  • Workshops a total of 8 points

Business skills 4u1, Coaching and mentoring, Innovation and creative thinking, Problem solving and decision making – each 2 points

  • Extracurricular activitiesa total of 10 points

Surprise mingling x2, Road to Success, Meet the President of AmCham, AmChamps Bridges – each 2 points

  • Meet the Business First Handa total of 4 points

Ball Packaging Europe & Coca-Cola Hellenic – each 1 point, Nelt – 2 points

Team Building @ Kopaonika total of 2 points

All points are expressed by pairs – if only one representative of the pair is present, the points are halved.

ASSIGNED TO LEAD

Lectures and workshops are accompanied with specific assignments that AmChamps teams will be asked to work on during or after the event. Assignments are assessed with up to 12 points each, by lecturers and trainers or other AmChamps participants, based on clear guidelines and assessment criteria.

  • Assignments from workshops Innovation and Creative Thinking & Problem Solving and Decision Makinga total of 10 points.

Assignments are done in pairs, within smaller or larger groups, at the workshop itself. The assignments are evaluated by trainers. The minimum score for a single assignment is 1, and the maximum is 5 for a pair.

  • Assignments from workshops Business Skills 4in1 & Coaching and Mentoring –a total of 12 points.

Assignments are done in pairs, within smaller or larger groups, at the workshop itself. The assignments are evaluated by trainers. The minimum number of points for the individual assignment is 1, and the maximum is 6 per pair.

  • Assignment from Neuromarketing lecturea total 6 points.

Assignment is done by each pair individually and it involves writing of an English-language essay, which is assessed by the lecturer. The minimum number of points for the assignment is 1, and the maximum is 6 per pair.

  • Assignment from Digital Era and Team Synergya total of 10 points.

The assignment is done in groups (5 groups of 4 pairs each) and involves presenting the topic from the perspective of the mentor company - the current state and recommendations for improvement. The assignment is assessed by the lecturer. The minimum number of points for the assignment is 1, and the maximum is 10.

  • Assignment from Family Business Development lecture a total of 12 points.

The assignment is done in groups (5 groups of 4 pairs) and represents a case study. The assignment is assessed by lecturers. The minimum number of points for the assignment is 1, and the maximum is 12.

Any delay in delivering assignments in relation to the scheduled deadlines entails negative points the score is reduced by 20%.

AMCHAMPS AT UNIVERSITY

At the beginning of the AmChamps program participants will be divided into four groups that will have the assignment of organizing a lecture / round table / panel discussion at four different faculties. The minimum number of points for this activity is 1, and the maximum 10 - all pairs within a group get the same number of points. The organization of the event is evaluated by members of the AmCham Executive Team.


BUILDING MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS

At the end of the regular part of the program participants will have the assignment of preparing a report on mentoring, as well as a video clip in which they will present their mentoring relationship. The assignment is assessed by members of the AmCham Executive Team with points from 1 to 10.
