AmChamps 2016: Call for applications

Weather you are student @ University of Belgrade or a young manager @ AmCham member company - we welcome your application for AmChamps 2016.

In early 2014 AmCham launched unique, competitive educational program AmChamps - Young Leaders in Change as a response to the concern of the membership that the existing education system in the country is inadequate and is not responsive to the needs of the modern businesses.

Each year, a total of 40 participants is selected – 20 students & 20 young managers. At the beginning of the program, at the special speed dating event, participants are matched in mixed pairs (one student-one young manager), whereas young managers observe the role of mentor and students of the mentee. Throughout the program they are working on developing their mentoring relationship.

During the regular course of program, participants collect points for attendance, assignments (from lectures & workshops) and extracurricular activities. Top 10 pairs are going to semi-finals where they work on concrete assignment – Coca Cola Hellenic case study. Top 3 pairs will be developing special company projects, under mentoring of AmCham Board members. The pair that prepare the best project proposal is announced as AmChamps 2016 winner.

The most successful participants will receive Career Development Sessions, Scholarships for Sheffield University Programs: MBA full scholarship for best manager & MBA half-fee scholarship for the other two finalists, Berlitz Professional Skills seminar.
