Over 150 representatives of AmCham Serbia companies and members of NALED got together to support the ``Magnet for Love`` humanitarian action initiated by Miodrag Kostić, MK Group and TDE Services
After the successful launching of the ``Magnet for Love`` action in mid-November, MK Group and TDE Services undertook a series of events with business associations to call for action and increase awareness of a project designed to raise funds for the purchase of new, improved magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)--related equipment and the first special incubator for MRI diagnosis of premature babies, for the Novi Sad-based Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina.
Zoran Petrović, AmCham President, thanked both the hosts and guests, saying: ‘’Recognizing the public interest and the importance of the corporate responsibility way of doing business, AmCham joins this action with a great enthusiasm. I believe that the support of both the wider business community and the public for this project will contribute to the efforts of our hosts, and in that sense I expect good news about the completion of a successful project!’’
Miloš Vučević, Mayor of Novi Sad and a member of NALED`s Managing Board, greeted the guests, explaining: ``Beside a noble cause ‘Magnet for Love’ sets one of the highest bars in corporate philanthropy in Serbia in the last ten years, so I express my gratitude for this visionary project and its high aspirations.‘’
Guests were able to support the cause at the event by buying `Magnet za Ljubav` badges for a symbolic price.
