Winners of the AmChamps 2016 Program Announced

Aleksandra Simić from Vojvođanska banka and Goran Tomić from the Faculty of Architecture are the winning mentor-mentee team of the third generation of the educational AmChamps program

Over a three months period, members of the AmCham Board of Governors, and members of the jury of this year's AmChamps finals: Vladan Živanović of NCR, Miloš Đurković from HPE and Branko Mitrović from Telenor, monitored the development of case studies and advised AmChamps finalists on various aspects of their projects.

At the final ceremony, the three most successful teams of the 2016 AmChamps program presented solutions for case studies -- tasks that were set by the executives of their respective companies. Second place was shared by two teams: Mihailo Milenović of Delhaize and Bogdan Rakić from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences presented production and communications challenges and a new strategy for re-positioning and marketing "Super Lunch" product on the domestic market; Marko Radosavljević from the Executive Group together with Branislav Bandić from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences presented a strategy for a creative solution of sustainable finance and sales of ‘LiceUlice’ magazine, initially created in direct support of vulnerable and marginalized social groups.

According to the jury, this year's most successful project - `Digitalicious - Bricks plus Clicks, Digitization of the Banking Experience` - presented by Aleksandra Simić of Vojvođanska Banka and Goran Tomić from the Faculty of Architecture – combines traditional attitudes and expectations from the banks by clients and ways of placing banking services in accordance with the newest on-line and mobile technology, and fundamentally changes the concept of banking to so-called i-banking. Aleksandra and Goran were unanimously announced as winners of the AmChamps 2016 program.

The winning pair will be given full scholarships at Sheffield University: Aleksandra will attend the MBA program, and Goran will opt for one of the Sheffield’s Master programs. The runner-ups will receive half of the funds to start Master studies at Sheffield.
