Formalization of the AmCham Marketing and Communications Group

In order to improve the activities and work of the AmCham Marketing and Communications Group, an initial meeting was held with a main goal to establish a Program Committee and define new goals that will be in the focus of this group's work in the upcoming period.

In order to formalize the work of the AmCham Marketing and Communication Group and to clearly define an objectives and the plan of activities for the upcoming period, it is proposed that the Group develop its activities in several directions:

  • Monitoring the state of the law in the field of advertising and related laws and planning informational - educational activities, as well as the public advocacy of regulatory changes and monitoring the situation in the field with all key stakeholders;
  • Raising awareness of the business, academic and media community on the ethics of communications;
  • Cooperating with the academic community in order to raise awareness on the importance of communications literacy;
  • Continuating organization of events and meetings of the Group according to the current principle and dynamics.
In addition to defining the objectives that the Marketing and Communications Group should achieve in the upcoming period, a Program Committee was formed. The Program Committee will be composed of three representatives from AmCham member companies and one representative from AmCham. Vanda Kučera, Head of Corporate Affairs at I & F McCann Belgrade, was selected as coordinator of the Program Committee.
