Winners of AmChamps Summer School, Powered by Banca Intesa, are Announced

The project Skrati vreme u redu was proclaimed the best presented in this year's program.

At the final event, the participants of AmChamps Summer School powered by Banca Intesa presented their projects on the topic: Improving relations with clients. The chosen winner was the project Skrati vreme u redu conceived by Milana Milanović, Danijela Filipović, Maja Cvetinov and Anja Riznić. The team members were chosen to participate in the next—fifth--cycle of the Amchamps – Young Leaders in Change program.

Thanks to the summer school, selected students of the University of Belgrade got the opportunity to learn more from the young managers of AmCham company members, the representatives of Banca Intesa and the University of Sheffield. Topics included: trends in the finance sector, customer relationships, the role of PR and marketing in the banking sector, communications, motivation, sales skills and to strengthen team spirit and gain the necessary knowledge to develop their final projects.

Members of the jury that chose the winners were Boris Vučinić, a member of the AmCham Board of Directors, Nemanja Stanišić, Director of Banca Intesa’s Customer Satisfaction Department and Nikola Knežević, the representative of the University of Sheffield Alumni Club.

''The teams have demonstrated their abilities, the speed of adopting new ideas and the ease of applying acquired knowledge in a concrete and very practical task with their projects“, said Boris Vujičić. ''Their potential and their will are enormous, and for this reason, by establishing closer cooperation between the academic sector and the economy, they can be further encouraged, enabled to point out all their skills and become leaders of the Serbian business community“.

AmChamps Summer School is one of the subprojects of the unique educational program of AmCham which enables students to learn and build interpersonal skills in order to empower them and help them overcome the challenges in a modern business environment. The initiative was powered by Banca Intesa for the second year.
