The fourth WineCham event attracted over 40 representatives of AmCham member companies to Erdevik Winery where they enjoyed a carefully selected food and wine pairing menu.
After a reception on the terrace of the wine house, the guests visited the bar, the production facilities and the winery museum. This was an opportunity to inform themselves more about the selection of wine varieties, the technology for processing top–quality wines and the tradition of growing grapevines in this area that dates to the third century BC.
At a festive lunch, the host of the event, Miodrag Kostić, President of the MK Group, emphasized the importance of informal networking and gatherings in the business world. Giving thanks for the hospitality of Mr. Kostic and winery Erdevik, Zoran Petrović, President of the AmCham Board, pointed out the support of the MK Group in many activities of the association in education and professional development as well as in advocating improvement of the business environment.
For this occasion, the best wines of the house were emphasized in a carefully designed menu:
- Ferrero rocher` foie gras with red onion jam and aromatized butter (Sauvignon Blanc 2016)
- Homemade pasta with creamy `fruškogorski` black truffle sauce (Omnibus Lector 2015)
- Veal ribs in creamy chardonnay sauce, slow cooked lamb rib in chamomile (Grand Trianon Reserve)
- Apricot and plum tart with vanilla sauce (Roza Nostra 2016)
