Srđan Popov named new director of Jadran

Srđan Popov has been named as the new director of Jadran. He has nearly three decades experience as a manager, executive director, business consultant, mentor and project manager. During his career, he has been engaged in developing, restructuring and reorganizing business, production and information systems, as well as change management.

Popov has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a Master of Science in management and MBA. He speaks English and French fluently and has some knowledge of German.

He gained his business experience working as a general manager in large manufacturing and service companies, such as Šid-based factory Victoria Oil, the Subotica Veterinary Institute and Jugoinspekt in Novi Sad. He has spent 14 years in leadership positions at NIS and has managed a team of 1,400 people as head of the oil refinery in Novi Sad.
