New AmChamps generation welcomed to AmChamps Alumni Club
The last set of AmChamps 009 activities in 2022 provided an opportunity for the new generation to meet the students and managers who took part in previous iterations of the AmChamps program in the AmChamps Alumni Club. The new participants attended lectures on the AmChamps program and the Alumni Club, changing corporate culture, corporate finance, and how students can become entrepreneurs. A final workshop was aimed at helping the students master Microsoft Excel.
Alumni Aleksandar Vratonjić Gligorijević of TeleGroup and Andrea Nikolić of Belgrade University Faculty of Law showcased the benefits of AmChamps and presented the Alumni Club, comprised of all participants from previous rounds of the initiative who met to exchange experiences, make contacts, forge friendships, attend events, and show social responsibility by organising humanitarian drives.
AmCham alumna Jovana Žuržin Vukotić of Siemens spoke about changing corporate culture after the coronavirus pandemic, the impact of digitalisation on business, and increasing preference for working from home.
Milica Milošević of Stetoskop, who is also co-founder of the 100 Women Winery, described her path from law student to entrepreneur, the tribulations and challenges of doing business, and the opportunities young people have in their career development.
Sanja Keranović of Dr Oetker delivered the presentation on corporate finance, where she told the participants about the concept of corporate finance, financial statements and analyses, financial planning, digitalisation in finance, and risk assessment.
Lastly, Milena Bulatović Dobrić of Manpower and Nenad Jokić of British American Tobacco facilitated a workshop on Microsoft Excel aimed at students. The interactive session presented the practical uses of the spreadsheet software and how students could use it at work.
The next set of AmChamps activities is scheduled for late January 2023.
