Our Goals

Our focus in 2022-2024.

Facilitating Green Agenda Implementation

Supporting the implementation of the EU standards and industry’s transition to circular economy, through an ongoing multistakeholder dialogue.

Supporting Packaging Circularity

Improving Packaging and Packaging Waste legislation to meet circularity goals and ensure efficient collection and recycling system, by building consensus on the most important characteristics of the well-designed packaging waste management system (enhancing all dimensions of Extended Producers Responsibility scheme, while introducing the Deposit Retorn System);

Climate and water protection, as well as biodiversity preservation

Raise awareness and support businesses transition towards carbon neutrality and implementation of ESG standards by promoting favorable legislation and financial incentives; advocate for polluter pays principle, transparent resources distribution and investments into protected natural areas, in parallel curbing discriminatory taxation or parafiscal proposals;

Improved food waste distribution

Advocate for legislative changes that would help reduce food waste and improve the overall social and environmental impact, by focusing on reducing food loss due to expiry date and VAT costs of food donation, to reduce landfill dumping and promote sustainable food systems.
