Svetoslav Atanasov, General Manager of Coca-Cola Hellenic Serbia, delivered an online lecture for AmChamps on brand and consumer focus.
Mr Atanasov began by highlighting the operations of Coca-Cola Hellenic and its impact on both the economies and societies of Serbia and other countries worldwide. He also spoke about his 21-year career journey, which took him from the position of intern at the firm to general manager. Mr Atanasov opined that the key to a successful career was having respect for others, being open to working and learning, sharing knowledge selflessly, and not being afraid to change jobs and positions. He added one should never forget where one began and view situations from a variety of perspectives, and that development was never quick and easy but that its rewards were immense. Working with others was also a must, he concluded.
The lecture continued with a presentation of the company’s beverage portfolio, which includes water, tea, fruit juice, and alcoholic beverages. Mr Atanasov spoke about relationships with customers and building a brand’s positive impact. Particular emphasis was placed on defining a brand, followed by developing its unique appeal, ensuring consumers have an emotional connection with the brand, consistency, and good strategy.
Mr Atanasov’s lecture closed with a question and answer session with AmChamps, who were able to ask in-depth questions and share impressions from the event.
