The workshop was facilitated by Ivana Karanović, Head of Learning and Development at Karanović & Partners, who encouraged the AmChamps to nurture their curiosity.
Ivana spoke about the true value of curiosity in business, practice, and everyday life, emphasising that asking questions was the first and most fundamental step. She opined that we would all be ‘dinosaurs’ without curiosity – we would cease functioning and lose the ability to innovate, since innovations arise as a result of people’s desires to discover and learn new things.
As curiosity can also lead to mistakes, Ivana added that systems had to build in tolerance to error, since there could be no progress without errors, especially amongst young people just starting out in their careers.
She closed the workshop by inviting the AmChamps to be courageous and curious and never stop asking questions, because that was the only way to experience the nicer side of life and learning.
