Judit Albers will focus on the comprehensive development of A1 in the Serbian market
A1 Group’s management has announced Judith Albers as the incoming General Director of A1 Serbia, effective June 1, 2024. Dejan Turk, who served as the head of A1 Serbia for the past decade, will transition to the role of General Manager for A1 Slovenia and A1 Croatia.
Joining A1 Group in 2021, she has led the transformation of the international business, particularly excelling in driving digitization and modernization. Previously associated with AzerTelecom in Azerbaijan, Albers managed the operator’s international business segment, overseeing voice and Internet traffic on a global scale. Her tenure at Deutsche Telekom from 1999 to 2018 saw her hold various management positions in locations such as Bonn, Budapest, and the Balkan region, where she successfully managed traffic, led business operations in Asia, and spearheaded the development of the business in the Middle East.
In her new role, Albers will focus on the comprehensive development of A1 in the Serbian market, emphasizing aspects such as network quality, digital transformation, and the incorporation of new technologies and services.
