The renovation of the Slobodan Penezić Student Dormitory will include replacing floors, interior doors, painting and decorating work, as well as furnishing student rooms entirely
MK Group and AIK Bank have signed a donation agreement of 100,000 EUR with the Belgrade Student Centre, an institution in the capital city providing accommodation services for 10,500 students across 14 student dormitories. The financial resources will be used for the renovation and furnishing of the Slobodan Penezić Student Dormitory in Zvezdara.
This donation is part of a regional philanthropic program worth 350,000 EUR, aimed at renovating four student dormitories in the Adria region countries where MK Group operates, continuing our ongoing support activities for children, youth, and education.
“This year, students are the focus of our regional corporate social responsibility program, which we traditionally conduct in Serbia in partnership with AIK Bank. We will allocate a total of 350,000 EUR for student dormitories in the Adria region, specifically in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Croatia. Our aim is to contribute to the education and development of new generations, providing the best students with quality conditions for studying and living during their academic years. Through this year’s donations, we will impact several thousand students residing in student dormitories in Belgrade, Podgorica, Ljubljana, and Zagreb,” said Aleksandra Stojanović, Director of Corporate Affairs at MK Group.
