AmCham Supports Young Lawyers in BG Open Pre-Moot Competition

The BG Open Pre – Moot preparatory competition was held at the Faculty of Law University of Belgrade, and attracted students from more than 76 universities from 32 countries. At this competition, students had the opportunity to test their professional knowledge and practical skills in international trade law and international arbitration law. The BG Open Pre – Moot gives the attendees the best preparation for the most famous international competition, the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, that every year holds place in Vienna. The preparatory competition was preceded by the 12th Belgrade Arbitration Conference.

AmCham participated, another year in the row, in the organization of this event as part of our corporate social responsibility strategy, investment in the academic community and the promotion of the best students in Serbia, providing technical and logistical support at the competition.

At our premises competed students from the following Universities: University of Bern (Switzerland), Penn State University (USA), University of Pittsburgh (USA), Masaryk University (Czech Republic), National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece) and University of Berkley (USA).
