First gathering in 2023 augurs for a successful year
AmChamps 009 has brought its participants together for its first round of activities in 2023. A day of engaging seminars on Business Transformation, Digital Transformation, and Public Speaking/Networking allowed the participants to learn about the importance of transformation and digitalisation and choose whether to attend a public speaking workshop or work on their networking skills.
The first presentation, on Business Transformation, was delivered by Ivan Miletić, Director of External Affairs at Philip Morris, a firm that has undergone multiple rounds of transformation. Ivan spoke about the importance of advocacy and responsible corporate involvement in developing and adopting regulations that directly affect business and have a broader societal impact. The participants were able to ask Ivan a variety of questions, including the company’s approach to advertising and research that reveals the adverse health effects of using tobacco products.
The next seminar, devoted to Digital Transformation, delivered by Aleksandar Vratonjić Gligorijević, head of marketing at TeleGroup, allowed the participants to learn about the changes brought about by digitalisation and the significance of data in an information society. The presentation focused on the impact of technology-driven transformation on changes on society and the lives of individuals.
The participants who opted to attend the public speaking workshop heard from Borislav Miljanović, Executive Director at Represent System, and Jelena Mikić, Director at Represent Academy, about how to improve their public speaking skills. The event also included immersive exercises where the AmChamps could assume a variety of roles, relax, and spend quality time together.
Those who were interested in the networking workshop, hosted by Edin Veljović, Serbia Country Manager at AMS, spoke about the importance of networking as a concept and the importance of networking skills and building one’s personal brand for career advancement, getting ahead in business, learning, and making acquaintances in the business world.
The next AmChamps workshop is scheduled for early February.
