Delta Holding hires 41 more Young Leaders in 11th round of initiative

Young Leaders is an employment and career development program launched in 2012 and is open every year to recent university graduates with no previous professional experience.

‘The most important thing for young people today is to be given a chance and see an opportunity for development. This project allows them to learn first-hand from experienced and motivated mentors by moving through all Delta Holding companies. We are proud to have world-class capacity at Delta to develop top-tier professionals, and I see that as the secret ingredient that has made this initiative so successful and long-lasting’, said Ivanka Novaković, Chief Human Resources Officer at Delta Holding.

The program gives participants the opportunity to work for a variety of businesses and attend training in a range of fields, whilst consistently receiving support and attention from dedicated mentors.

‘The third round of Young Leaders gave me an opportunity that young people in Serbia rarely get. I was able to occupy positions of great responsibility in a wide variety of businesses, from agriculture to food production to the hospitality industry. I could learn by doing, and I absorbed experience from some of the region’s best businesspeople. For eight years I have had the pleasure of imparting the business knowledge I learnt to younger generations’, said Andrej Sovrović, head of hotel business at Delta Holding and member of the company’s Board of Directors.

Over the course of the past decade, more than 340 young people have embarked on their business careers with the Delta Group.
