First-hand insight into production and logistics processes
As part of the AmChamps program, participants visited two companies on May 21 – Ball Packaging Europe and Nelt – where they had the opportunity to directly observe high-level production and logistics operations.
The visit began at Ball Packaging Europe, where participants toured the production facility and, through a conversation with Nikola Cerović, Plant Manager and AmChamps alumnus, gained insights into the challenges and innovations in the packaging industry. They followed the entire aluminum can production process – from aluminum coils to ready-to-fill cans.
The second part of the day was dedicated to the company Nelt, where participants learned about a broader scope of business activities – from sales and logistics to LEAN processes and technological solutions in the supply chain. Company representatives, including Olga Žarković, Mihajlo Stikić, Marko Đurović, and Miloš Miletić, shared concrete insights from their areas of expertise.
The day concluded with a warehouse tour and final remarks from the hosts, leaving a strong impression of the importance of efficient organization and teamwork in modern business.
