Banca Intesa has signed a credit line agreement with CDP
Banca Intesa has signed a credit line agreement to support green projects of small and medium-sized enterprises with the Italian financial institution for development and cooperation, CDP (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti). CDP has also inaugurated its office in Belgrade, marking its first presence outside the EU.
On this occasion, Darko Popović, the President of the Executive Board of Banca Intesa, stated: “The opening of the CDP office in Belgrade represents an exceptionally important step in further strengthening the economic and business relations between Serbia and Italy, confirming our joint commitment to sustainable economic growth. We take pride in the fact that Banca Intesa is precisely the partner of CDP in this significant endeavor.
In collaboration with Italy, we share a common vision for advancing a sustainable Serbian economy, manifested through a recently signed credit line with CDP – the inaugural step in our planned series of joint initiatives. Our commitment to ESG principles is evident in the execution of over 210 million euros in ESG loans during the year 2023, aligning with the strategic direction of our parent Group.”
