Banca Intesa has once again received a prestigious award from the renowned The Banker magazine, part of the Financial Times media group, confirming its leading position in the domestic banking market. The recognition was based on an analysis of key business metrics, including capital, profitability, technology and sustainability strategies, as well as the development of new products and services.
“The recognitions from The Banker are considered the highest standard of excellence in the global financial industry, and it is therefore a special honor to have once again received this prestigious award. We see it as a confirmation of our market leadership position, which is sustained through organic growth driven by innovative financial solutions, the use of technology to create a superior customer experience and operational efficiency, as well as adherence to sustainability principles aimed at supporting the green transition and inclusive social development. This year, the bank’s ESG profile has been further strengthened with the establishment of the Intesa Foundation, a philanthropic organization that will enhance our ability to create a systemic positive impact on society and the environment and support the creation of a prosperous and cohesive society for all,” said Darko Popović, Chairman of the Executive Board of Banca Intesa.
In addition to The Banker award, this year Banca Intesa also received recognition as Best Bank in Serbia from Euromoney and Global Finance magazines. Banca Intesa continues to support retail and business clients by offering innovative financial services through its extensive branch network and modern digital solutions.
