UNIQA Osiguranje, part of UNIQA Group, formally started up its business operation in Serbia in November 2006, when the process of take-over of 80 percent of share of Zepter osiguranje was finalized. So far UNIQA invested almost EUR 50 million in Serbia. The UNIQA Group is one of the leading insurance groups in its core markets of Austria and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) with approximately 40 companies in 19 countries and more than 9.3 million customers.
