Imlek chose World Milk Day to surprise its youngest consumers. The dairy company donated several tonnes of Moja Kravica brand milk and chocolate-flavoured milk to Belgrade’s Institute for Mother and Child, Duško Radović Children’s Care Home of Niš, Children’s Village at Sremska Kamenica, and respite care houses for parents operated by the charity NURDOR in Belgrade, Niš, and Novi Sad.
‘For us, World Milk Day is a highly significant date, and on this occasion we, the regional leader in milk and dairy production, wish to remind children and their parents of just how important it is do drink milk. Many generations have grown up carefree with Moja Kravica, a tradition we strive to pass on to the youngsters of today – and, judging by their smiles, we seem to be doing a good job of it. And it’s not just the joy in their faces that makes us happy: it’s also great to know that our dairy products help keep their bones and teeth healthy and promote cognitive functions such as learning and remembering. We at Imlek want childhood to truly be the merriest and most joyful time of life, and that’s why we’ll continue helping children grow up happy’, said Marija Malović, Group Corporate Affairs and Communications Manager at Imlek.
