Miodrag Kostić shared with participants in the AmChamps program the beginnings of his career, his business success and his understanding of entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial spirit. He stated that perseverance, resourcefulness and determination are qualities that are valued in any business and can lead to positive results no matter what job or industry where one works.He added that agriculture, tourism and banking are areas which will develop rapidly in the future and that digitization is necessary if we are to build a strong business system. He told participants of the AmChamps program that they should not run away from challenges and failures in their careers because these are an integral part of every business, and that they should use their energy, perseverance and new ideas to overcome those obstacles. The two-hour lecture ended with numerous questions from the students and young managers regarding further business plans of the MK Group, the mistakes Kostić made during his career and the biggest risks and outcomes during business development.
In her talk, Gorana Golubović Vuksanović described her personal and professional development within the company ,vividly outlining the start of her career, positions within the company where she worked and the knowledge, skills and competencies that were necessary. Gorana through her own example, explained how employees are the most important part of the corporation. Also, she put emphasis on the sharing of the goals and vision within the team, stating that it is necessary to continuously learn and work in order to successfully adapt to changes and new business models.
The rest of the weekend was dedicated to activities on Kopaonik, where they were hosted by MK Group and the Grand & Spa hotel. The participants walked together to the Pancic peak. Also, divided into teams with residents of SOS Children's Village, the AmChamps competed in a virtual shooting range and bowling.
