This investment of 12 million euros is part of MK’s strategy of expanding its hotel business in the most attractive locations in the region. Sheraton will operate under the franchise of one of the most famous hotel corporations in the world – Marriot International.
`In the last ten years, MK has invested around 200 million euros in hotels, which at first glance was not visible, and maybe it has now jumped out with the opening of the Sheraton Hotel,` says Miodrag Kostić, MK Group President. MK Group has opened two Kempinski Adriatics hotels in the last two years, one in Croatia, and the other in Slovenia.
The first Sheraton hotel in Serbia has four stars 150 superior rooms, of which nine are apartments and one is a presidential suite. It offers an ala carte restaurant as well as a Wine & Tapas Bar. The top floor is reserved for a spa and wellness center with sauna and jacuzzi. In the hotel there are club rooms and a club lounge, with special benefits for Sheraton club members, for which there will be a special concierge program.
The Sheraton Hotel is located near the Novi Sad Fair and the city center, extending to 13,000 square meters, with six conference rooms capacity of almost 800 seats and the possibility of organizing multiple events simultaneously.
