The company successfully carried through the acquisition of the Serbian company Milanović Inženjering, a manufacturer of aluminum body parts for railroad vehicles. The approval of the relevant authorities for protection of competition has been obtained, and all the conditions that preceded the acquisition have been successfully met. With this acquisition, Siemens has created an optimum position for future projects in the competitive market of the rail industry.
