In the first part of the program, mentoring pairs – HR managers of AmCham member companies and representatives of the human resources department within the public administration, presented an analysis of training needs in the state authority. The aim was using presented models in improving organizational units in that state authority. Program participants said that this was their first opportunity to be a part of a program that had the aim of establishing collaboration between the private and public sectors and that exchange of experiences and networking in this unique program were valuable. Both sectors’ representatives emphasized that the HResurs program, besides all newly acquired knowlege in the HR area, gave them motivation and the will for further improvement of personal and professional development.
A representative of AmCham member company Manpower, Verica Mićunović, in the second part of the event presented an online platform – eLearning. Program participants from the public administration had the opportunity to improve their knowledge of human resources during the program's next 3 months by using this free platform.
Dražen Maravić, director of National Academy for Public Administration, suggested the representatives of the private sector to be a part of the “Top Mentor” section, within the recently established site of the National Academy for Public Administration.
Mia Pešić, Chair of the AmCham HR Forum, stated that, even though the realization of this project lasted over 6 months this program exceeded all expectations from the aspect of organizators and participants as well as establishing priceless synergy between public and private sectors.
