New, largest ever class of young future leaders joins program
The ninth round of the AmChamps professional development program for young people has formally commenced. The initiative is once again aimed at final-year university students and managers of AmCham’s member companies who wish to compete, collaborate, gain new knowledge, build their careers, and grow their professional networks.
Introductions by Vera Nikolić Dimić, AmCham Serbia Executive Director, Tina Kostić, Membership and Finance Manager, and winners of the eighth AmChamps round Ivan Vučićević, Sales Manager at Adecco and student Milana Maravić, were followed by fast-paced four-minute meetings and mutual evaluations aimed at matching mentors and mentees.
This year’s AmChamps has attracted the largest ever intake of 56 participants, with students and managers accounting for 28 each.
The mentors and their mentees will take part in projects and workshops for one whole year and gain practical experience that will help them in their future professional development. The mentoring pairs have good reason to do their best, as the winners can look forward to full scholarships for the Executive MBA and master’s programmes at CITY College, University of York Europe Campus.
