The tenth round of the AMCHAMPS program is launched

The tenth season of the AmChamps youth professional training program has opened, intended for final year college students and managers from AmCham member companies. The program provides an opportunity for competition, cooperation, education and making business contacts.

Due to great interest and outstanding candidates, this jubilee year, we accepted 60 candidates, which makes this generation the most numerous so far.

Tina Kostić, Manager for Membership and Finance, and Milica Pražić, Manager for Regulatory Affairs and Education, welcomed the participants. This was followed by last year’s winners Marko Stojićević and Đurđina Zdravković, who shared their experiences and advice.

Participants had four minutes to introduce themselves and get to know potential mentors or mentees, through a quick selection process, known as “speed dating”. After these encounters, the AmChamps app was used to score the interactions, and the algorithm analyzed the data to find ideal pairings.

Mentors will participate in projects and workshops with their mentees throughout the year and gain practical experience that will help them in further professional development. Additional motivation for couples to show themselves as best as possible are the prizes intended for the finalists, and for the winners full scholarships from York University for Executive MBA and Master’s studies.
