Amalija Pavić, AmCham Deputy Director, presented the annual report for 2024, highlighting AmCham had ended the past year with the record number of members since its inception. AmCham Serbia entered 2025 with a membership of 270 international and Serbian firms whose total revenue exceeds 21 billion euros and which collectively employ more than 119,000 people in Serbia. The complete annual report is available here.
“We entered 2025 with the largest membership base to date, a testament to the significance and impact of the AmCham community, as well as an added responsibility moving forward. We will continue with the same priorities, which I believe can accelerate the development of the economy, modernize it, and make it more resilient to crises, with a special focus on digital transformation in public administration, judiciary, healthcare, trade, and the labor market. We will also further focus on the implementation of ESG principles, particularly in the areas of environmental protection and energy transition, as well as strengthening economic relations between Serbia and the United States. We believe that cooperation with the new U.S. administration will bring benefits to the economy and businesses of all our members, while AmCham will continue to be their voice and support in the reform processes that contribute to improving the business environment,” said AmCham President Stefan Lazarević.
“To successfully implement reforms, preserve the positive economic results we have achieved, and continue to systematically improve the business environment, we expect that the focus in the upcoming period will be on the rule of law, continued EU integration, increased transparency, and strengthening institutional capacities, so that we can respond institutionally to the challenges ahead,” added Lazarević.
