The final set of activities in the tenth cycle of the AmChamps program was organized through a visit to Ball Packaging Europe in Zemun.
Nikola Cerović, the director of Ball Packaging Europe, welcomed the program participants. Cerović, a former young manager, was a participant in the third generation of the AmChamps program.
The participants first attended a lecture on sustainable packaging, where they had the opportunity to learn more about innovations and practices that contribute to environmental preservation. Jelena Petljanski, the Sustainability and Public Affairs Manager for Central and Eastern Europe, emphasized the importance of sustainable packaging and recycling, as well as the role companies and individuals play in reducing the ecological footprint.
After the lecture, the AmChamps participants toured the production facilities, where they could see firsthand how the packaging for popular beverages is made. During the tour, company experts demonstrated various stages of production and answered many questions from the interested participants.
To conclude the day, in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, the participants, together with their hosts, planted pine trees on the factory grounds. This tree-planting activity symbolized their joint commitment to nature conservation and contribution to environmental sustainability.
