A new set of activities within the AmChamps10 program included the traditional firsthand introduction of participants to the workings of companies. This time, a visit was organized to PepsiCo in Maglić.
The focus of the visit was on touring the production facilities and warehouses. Here, interested participants had the opportunity to see the production process of their favorite snacks live, from raw materials to the final product. Additionally, the warehouse tour provided insight into the complexity of logistics and inventory management that ensures a continuous supply of products to the market.
After the tour, participants had the chance to exchange experiences, ask questions, and enjoy a relaxed environment while learning about the company’s origins, its development over the years, and the journey that potatoes take from the field to chips. This allowed them to fully understand the complexity of the production process.
