Formerly General Manager of Laundry & Home Care Adriatics, Mr Popović will head Henkel’s new Consumer Brands department
Đorđe Popović holds a BA in Economics from the University of Bamberg. He initially joined Henkel Austria as Key Account Manager, going on to head the Laundry & Home Care Key Account Management Group at Henkel Serbia.
Mr Popović was then promoted to CEE Regional Brand Manager, based in Vienna, and subsequently became Senior Global Key Account Manager & Head of Distributor Steering at Dusseldorf and Online Sales and Post-Merger Integration Manager for Spotless, a firm recently acquired by Henkel.
In 2015, as Head of International Key Account & Distributor Management, Mr Popović led Henkel’s global International Key Account Management (IKAM), and 2016 he joined the team that managed the acquisition of North American Sun Products. In 2018 he took over as General Manager LHC Adriatics, with a portfolio covering Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Albania.
Earlier this year, Henkel announced its separate global LHC and Beauty Care departments would merge into a single Henkel Consumer Brands unit, with the changeover to be completed by early 2023.
