Excelling Professional Development

Experience Exchange Between the State and Economy is Crucial for Efficient State Administration

By AmCham  Published On 03/10/2018
“The Hresurs program primarily has as a goal of professional development and experience exchange between the state and its economy. Through mutual communication, we will inspire many changes when HR management in State Administration is in question. With the help of our HR forum expertise the, program will represent added value to all the participants from the State Administration,” said Jelena Pavlović, AmCham board President, while giving an opening speech and pointing out the fact that this business association is ready to put at the State’s disposal the experience and knowledge of AmCham members. Ms. Pavlović thanked the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and the National Academy for Public Authority, that will be the sponsor of the Hresurs program.

The presentation of the program in the Palace of Serbia was attended by Branko Ružić, Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government, who said on this occasion that he is supporting this program with great pleasure because it contributes one “value more” to the Public Authority and it will help to civil officers during their professional development.

During the following three months, the participants will acquire a new perspective – a new dimension in HR management, due to the fact that they will be working directly with their colleagues from the private sector. “On the other hand, the program contributes to the mutual connection among state officers, and that is very important because the creating of public policies is never an isolated process, but actually the synthesis of the joint work of different public authorities at all levels of power,” said Branko Ružić.

“The collaboration with AmCham shows us the latest practices from the private sector in HR Management of successful foreign and domestic companies. This way, we are making real the exchange of experiences between the state and the economy and we are enabling professional development of state officers. I believe that through positive examples and united forces we will inspire changes in HR management in public institutions in order to make clear the purpose of work of the administration and provide more efficient public services to citizens and the economy,” said Dražen Maravić, duty completer of the National Academy for Public Administration.
