The pharmaceuticals company Hemofarm has released its latest Sustainability Report, entitled ‘Life Wins with Us’, which provides a snapshot of its performance and sustainability in 2020. According to the report, notwithstanding the pandemic, Hemofarm was able to achieve record-breaking output and ensure all markets of its parent company Stada were supplied with medicines and medical products of the highest quality.
Hemofarm took pride in its unswerving commitment to sustainable development whilst helping safeguard health and trust of its communities and continuing to apply environmental and resource responsible practices. ‘Most importantly, Hemofarm has successfully defended the health of society. We have shown by personal example what responsible business means in times of crisis, and sustainable development is important because it, above all, means responsibility towards employees, society and the community’, said Dr Ronald Seeliger, CEO of Hemofarm.
The report also showed that recycled cardboard packaging was used for 83 percent of Hemofarm’s products and that the company launched 17 new brands and donated 110 patient monitors to health facilities. The firm also provided special incentives for staff working in high-risk areas and delivered numerous internal and external training courses. The ‘Together We Can Do Anything’ initiative also helped employees facing mental health challenges.
