AmCham Serbia recently hosted the interactive workshop “Safeguarding Business in the Era of AI Cyber Threats,” focused on today’s pressing cybersecurity challenges in the age of artificial intelligence.
The keynote speaker was Paul Raffile, one of the leading experts in cybersecurity and digital investigations, who shared concrete insights into the mechanisms of corporate extortion, methods for identifying and mitigating threats, and strategies for effective incident response and recovery.
Raffile also offered participants a broader perspective on his recent research, including the growing and deadly threat of sextortion—a form of financial blackmail—which he presented at the Global Anti Scam Summit (GASS) in London in March 2025.
Through an engaging discussion, the workshop shed light on the broader context of digital security as an integral part of corporate responsibility, emphasizing the importance of timely action and informed decision-making.
The event concluded with a networking cocktail, offering participants an opportunity to exchange experiences and strengthen professional connections.
