Imlek has made its traditional gifts of Moja Kravica classic and chocolate-flavoured milk to children in residential and medical care. The gift baskets were donated to the largest children’s care homes, including the Belgrade Children’s Shelter, the SOS Children’s Village at Sremska Kamenica, and the Kolevka home in Subotica.
Marija Malović, Group Corporate Affairs and Communications Manager at Imlek, said children were the key beneficiaries of the firm’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. ‘To make this holiday brighter, we decided to donate their favourite milk gift baskets. The goal of actions such as this is to raise awareness of what we as a society need to do for children, as well as to draw attention to the need for children to drink milk at this age. Kids love Moja Kravica milk drinks, and it is a true pleasure to see smiles light up their faces like this. We also hope donations such as this one become a daily occurrence and encourage society to join us in supporting those who need our help the most’, Malović added.
As in past years, the donation to the Children’s Shelter was co-ordinated with the Belgrade City Secretariat for Social Services.
