AmCham Serbia and the SEE UP Accelerator organized the Legal Innovation Matchroom event, dedicated to connecting legal teams from member companies, law firms, and the startup community through the presentation of innovative solutions designed to improve legal processes.
During the event, seven startups presented their solutions: Lexandro, Factum AI, Bridge BP, tmLIFT, Whisperly, Blinking, and Protokol.
Participants had the opportunity to explore tools leveraging artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies to support legal teams in their daily work. The solutions presented covered the automation of legal document review, analysis, and processing; legal and case law research; brand and intellectual property protection; trademark risk assessment; compliance management related to regulatory frameworks such as the GDPR and the AI Act; as well as the digitalization of KYC and AML procedures.
In addition to the startup pitches, the event provided opportunities for networking and direct discussions between company representatives, law firms, and startup teams, with a focus on knowledge exchange, identifying potential areas of collaboration, and establishing new business connections.
A key takeaway from the event was that there is potential for deeper collaboration between the legal profession and the startup ecosystem, particularly in areas where emerging technologies can improve efficiency, enhance risk management, and reduce the time required for routine tasks. At the same time, participants emphasized the importance of responsible adoption of these technologies, including appropriate quality control, data protection, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Legal Innovation Matchroom is part of the broader Innovation Matchroom series organized by AmCham Serbia and the SEE UP Accelerator, aimed at bringing startup innovation closer to member companies and fostering the development of meaningful business partnerships.
