MK Group donates more than five million dinars to help new parents

Continuing its support for local communities and staff across its company holdings in this year of the global pandemic, MK Group has complemented its socially responsible projects and activities with its annual Family Support initiative, which offers financial subsidies to staff who have become new parents in the course of the year.

Aleksandar Kostić, MK Group Vice-President, said that Family Support had donated over 31 million dinars to 620 families with more than 1,000 children in the past four years. ‘This year has shown we live in a time fraught with uncertainty, but MK Group will not waver from its course of supporting its staff and the communities in which it operates’, Kostić concluded.

In 2020, the Group focused on helping the Serbian health service deal with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. It has donated more than one million euros for ventilators, medical supplies, food, and other aid for vulnerable groups and health workers.
