During the opening ceremony at Marsh Open Space, the participants were addressed by Zorica Mihajlović from the Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade and Diana Gligorijević, Marketing Manager of Telegroup and an Untitled Governor of the AmCham Board of Governors. They pointed out that connecting women from the technological and IT spheres is of great importance for their professional development and integration, as well as for the development of soft skills. In this way, they can serve as role models for young girls wanting to start their careers in these industries.
After the opening remarks, there was a session of 'speed dating', after which the participants were connected in teams composed of both groups. The program's three-month duration will feature workshops and seminars especially created for this occasion and aimed at developing interpersonal skills and business ideas.
The program was developed and organized in cooperation with the Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade and supported by ICT Hub, Impact Hub and the Startit Center.
