Presenting the organization, Brankica Ljamić, president of the ICF in Serbia, stressed that since it was founded in 1995 the ICF has become one of the leading international organizations today, with over 20,000 members committed to promoting coaching by setting high professional standards, providing independent certification and building a global network of professional coaches.
The ICF opened its Serbian branch in December 2018, and it was explained that candidates for accreditation or certification can be institutions that wish to accredit their program or individuals who want to become professional coaches. The ICF offers three levels of certification:
“¢ CCE (Continuing Coach Education) “¢ ACSTH (Approved Coaching Specific Training Hours) “¢ ACTP (Accredited Coaching Training Program)
Ljamić explained the process and the tests that must be passed in order to obtain a certificate, as well as plans for expansion of the Serbian branch network.
