A traditional family gathering, jointly hosted and partnered by AmCham Serbia and Coca-Cola HBC Serbia
AmCham Serbia in partnership with Coca-Cola HBC Serbia hosted its traditional Thanksgiving Dinner on Monday evening, bringing together CEOs and GMs of member companies, along with their families.
The evening began with a welcoming reception, where guests enjoyed classic American cocktails such as Martini and Old Fashioned, crafted from premium spirits within the Coca-Cola HBC Serbia distribution portfolio, alongside the company’s popular soft and fizzy drinks.
AmCham President Stefan Lazarević opened the dinner with a warm welcome, announcing the upcoming jubilees in 2026 — 25 years of AmCham Serbia and 250 years since the Declaration of American independence. Saša Marković, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia & Montenegro, highlighted the jubilees awaiting the company at the regional and global level: 75 years of Coca-Cola HBC operations and 140 years since the first Coca-Cola was produced.
The highlight of the formal part of the evening was the address by Mr. Alexander Titolo, Deputy Chief of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, who shared insights into Thanksgiving traditions and customs before ceremonially cutting the first slice of the turkey.
The Thanksgiving dinner menu showcased classic recipes of the holiday, beginning with beef tartare served with toasted pumpkin seed bread, followed by a creamy risotto with pumpkin, porcini, and chanterelles. The roasted turkey was accompanied by green beans, Brussels sprouts, glazed chestnuts, and cranberry sauce, and the meal concluded with a pumpkin tart topped with caramelized pecans.
Children had their own dedicated corner with creative activities, where they painted plaster pumpkins and leaves, created door decorations with family names, and made festive Thanksgiving-themed crafts, while parents enjoyed the dinner and company.
The evening took place at the Black Box Hall of the Ložionica Complex, graciously contributed by the American Resources Center, and celebrated connection, gratitude, and family, bringing everyone together in the true spirit of Thanksgiving.
