Innovation. Partnerships. Growth.
At the conference Business and Innovation – Models for Sustainable Collaboration, representatives of AmCham member companies and the startup sector exchanged ideas, explored potential collaboration models, and presented solutions in smart agriculture, energy, circular economy, ESG, AI technologies, and sustainable mobility.
According to the Lap Time survey by AmCham Serbia, nearly two-thirds of companies in Serbia see opportunities to accelerate growth through innovation and collaboration with startups, but lack clear models and partners.
The conference was opened by Stefan Lazarević, Chairman of the AmCham Serbia Board, who highlighted that partnerships with startups bring agility and new technologies, while AmCham serves as a bridge between established systems and emerging innovations in Serbia.
Participants saw practical examples of how startups and corporations can co-develop products – from pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives to strategic partnerships and investments. These models reduce risk for companies while enabling startups to enter the market faster.
A dedicated part of the conference was the Sustainable Solutions Fair, where more than 20 startups showcased projects in the highlighted areas. Startups had the opportunity to connect directly with companies through the Partnership Zone, discussing pilot projects, joint products, and long-term collaboration.
Participants were also introduced to an interactive map of Serbia’s AI ecosystem, developed by UNDP and the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, as a tool to track innovations and identify opportunities for collaboration.
The conference was supported by AmCham partners: Banca Intesa, NLB Komercijalna banka, IKEA, VISA, Philip Morris Services, and the law firm Schönherr.
