Thanksgiving Dinner – Evening for AmCham Family

Igor Lončarević, partner at KPMG and AmCham Board member, opened the event and welcomed guests: “This festivity is dedicated to families and friends and common care and harmony. The AmCham family is a hardworking family, but also a family that shares common values and is ready to give support to all its members and share happiness about the successes of all members.”

Živorad Vasić, Crowne Plaza GM and co-host of the event, explained the cultural and gastronomic tradition of this festivity by quoting some of American society’s most prominent individuals on how they experienced Thanksgiving.

The solemn dinner took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel’s Prime Restaurant, with support from the following companies: Delta DMD, Gala Voda, BIP and Tikveš.

Igor Lončarević and Zorica Mihajlović, AmCham Board member and representative of the US Embassy in Belgrade, marked the beginning of the dinner with the traditional slicing of turkey, which was served with cranberry sauce.

The youngest attendees enjoyed playing among themselves and were given a special task – to write down the reason they are thankful.

During the dinner, guests participated in a silent fund collection for the Svitac Association, which is dedicated to the affirmation of kids and their creativity and promotes the talents of kids with disabilities. RSD 100,000 was raised.
