UniCredit Bank has become the first bank to introduce the Mastercard Smart Data platform, a solution that enables companies to track and control expenses made with Mastercard business credit cards – quickly and efficiently, in just a few steps. This type of expense tracking and control system is already a standard in many countries, such as Germany, France, and the United States. The platform allows detailed transaction and expense reports for Mastercard business credit cards to be automatically and directly transferred into companies’ ERP systems.
The introduction of the Mastercard Smart Data service represents an important step toward more advanced expense management and brings numerous benefits, including direct integration with a company’s ERP system, automated reporting, reconciliation, and control of credit card expenses, as well as faster calculation and reimbursement cycles for representation and business travel costs.
On this occasion, Stefan Golubović, Director for International Corporates, stated:
“Introducing advanced services is a significant step toward increasing overall business efficiency, reducing operational costs, and freeing up employees’ time for strategically important tasks. This enables real-time data analysis, full control, and complete visibility into company expenses – quickly, accurately, and entirely electronically.”
Companies that choose to use this platform are supported by UniCredit Bank’s team throughout the entire implementation and integration process. Additionally, the process is designed to reduce the risk of errors and ensure full control and greater efficiency at all times.
By using the Mastercard Smart Data service of UniCredit Bank, companies benefit from automated expense posting by teams and locations, avoidance of lengthy administrative processes, precise budget planning, as well as international applicability and multi-currency support.
