A roundtable on judicial practice in the area of labor law involving top representatives of the judiciary and the business sector has opened a series of discussions that will be organized by AmCham during 2019, with the support of the Ministry of Justice.
Seventy-nine per cent of AmCham members gave a stable grade of 3 to
the business environment in Serbia on a scale from 1 to 5. That is one of the conclusions of AmCham’s annual research to find keypriorities for improving the business environment in Serbia.
At a conference on the Illicit trade, organized by AmCham, the Global Illicit Trade Environment Index by The Economist Intelligence Unit was presented, as well as the Quarterly Monitor of the Economic faculty of the University of Belgrade.
At a Business Breakfast with representatives of the Customs Administration organized by AmCham and the USAID REG Project, participants had an opportunity to get to know more about work of the National Trade Facilitation body and also with the procedure of acquiring the status of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).
