From Stated Values to Lived Values
AmCham’s HR Forum, in collaboration with the law firm Karanović & Partners, brought together HR professionals for an interactive workshop titled “Culture in Motion: People. Behaviors. Impact”, focused on one of the most important yet often overlooked topics — how everyday decisions and behaviors shape organizational culture.
The event opened with insights from Ivana Karanović and Ana Vidović, who shared real-life examples from their respective companies — Karanović & Partners and PepsiCo — illustrating how culture is not built through slogans but through concrete actions and active employee engagement.
During the workshop segment, participants worked in smaller groups to identify behaviors that influence team dynamics and explored the gap between declared and truly lived values. The focus was on small but decisive steps that each of us can take — starting today.
The session was facilitated by Ivana Pejak and Ana Vidović, Chair and Vice-Chair of the AmCham HR Forum. One of the key takeaways from the event was that culture doesn’t begin with a policy — it begins where behaviors start to change.
The event concluded with informal networking, fostering openness, connection, and experience-sharing.
