Companies exploring long-term renewable energy supply models gathered at the event “Corporate Power Purchase Agreements: From Concept to Implementation”, organized within AmCham’s Energy Transition platform.
The lecture was delivered by Natalija Ljubić, an expert from the Swiss company Pexapark, one of Europe’s leading providers of market intelligence and advisory services in the field of green energy and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Participants had the opportunity to learn about:
the purpose and benefits of PPAs for corporate energy buyers;
the role of key stakeholders in the contracting process;
different PPA structures and their specific characteristics;
identifying and managing key commercial risks;
specific aspects of corporate PPAs — from procurement and challenges to solutions and best practices.
Particular emphasis was placed on the practical aspects of implementing PPAs, drawing on Pexapark’s extensive experience, having supported the execution of over 35 GW of long-term green energy contracts across Europe.
The event further strengthened companies’ capacities to make informed decisions about entering PPA models — an important step toward long-term sustainable and market-competitive energy operations.
