Change Management – Rhythms of Resilience and Patterns of Adaptation
Organized by the AmCham HR Forum and supported by H.art, the workshop Change Management – Rhythms of Resilience and Patterns of Adaptation focused on understanding the change process and the role of HR in leading it successfully.
Through real-life examples and practical tools, participants explored the entire change management process – from identifying the need for change and initiating it, to engaging and preparing employees, implementing the change, and monitoring its impact. A key emphasis was placed on strengthening adaptability during the transition.
Special focus was given to assessing employee readiness for change and developing their ability and motivation – essential elements of both individual and collective resilience.
Facilitated HR-leader dialogue with employees – whether through team work or individual conversations – can help identify risks, build confidence, and provide clear meaning to the change. In this process, HR is tasked with translating the change plan into actionable steps while ensuring two-way communication, ongoing support, and clarity throughout every phase of the transition. The goal is not only for employees to understand the change, but also to actively contribute to its success.
The workshop also addressed the differences between desired and undesired changes, emphasizing that even stressful and uncertain transitions can be successfully managed – provided there is a systematic approach that considers both the psychological and operational aspects of change.
The key takeaway was clear: HR has the capacity to lead adaptation within organizations – cultivating a culture that not only accepts change, but embraces it as an opportunity for growth and development.
This workshop is part of the AmCham HR Forum’s ongoing efforts to empower the HR community in navigating modern leadership and people management challenges.
The session was facilitated by Marija Pavić, CEO and HR Consultant, ICF PCC, H.art & Blanchard Serbia.
